Am I Too Young To Get Married?

Rachel, Im not going to be negative or even tell you that your relationship will work, but I thought I would leave you with my story, I was 17 and he was 18, we dated for 2 years when he finally turned 20 and i was 19, he graduated from college, and i was in my second year. We got married, and I finnished college, Im now in my dream job, been married for 3 woonderful years, even made it past the ":honey-moon stage" and now we`re on our way with twins. Life throws curves at you, but its your choice on how to take them, Ive seen childhood sweethearts marry and live happily, but then there are some who get too tired of eachother because being together that long and still being young, wheres the excitment at after that? Just think about it, maybe spend some time apart, then when you come back together, or you both feel how much you missed each other, then you know you have something, but if you can spend time apart, and NOT miss each other, then somethings missing, you have the equipment to make your relationshiopp last, but with only each other, you dont have the expeiriance. Just some advice...

I got married to my high school sweetheart at 18, he was 21. He was ready to settle down and start a family, I always said before I met him I didn`t want to get married till I was at least 25. We divorced 8 months after we were married. I am not 28 and am still not ready after that experience. I learned the hard way how hard life can be when ur too young for something like that. Luckily there were no children involved but I lost my best friend and if we had waited I think it could have worked out. I now have 3 neices who are all under the age of 19, one has a baby already and her man left her. Kids are gonna do what they want to whether you tell them right from wrong in the end. They just have to learn the hard way like we all do sometimes. I just hope you will take the advice you were given and wait!
