Public Speaking

I am going to be Matron of Honor in my best friend`s wedding next year and the one thing I`m terrified about is giving a speech at the reception. Public speaking has been a huge deal for me for years. So the idea of standing up in front of all those people and talking kind of freaks me out a little bit. Any tips on how to overcome that so I can give a beautiful, memorable speech for my best friend?
