Becoming An Event Planner / Wedding Planner

I wanted to know how I could become a certified Event Planner/ Wedding Consultant. Are there any schools avaliable in Orlando, Florida for students on a very tight budget? Once I become certified, where do I go from there?

I am looking into becoming an event coordinator, but I am not sure as to how to get started. As in in degree. Any advice is a big help.
