Wedding Stories
Hello
Re: ITV1 Documentary - `Weddings From Hell 2003`
London Weekend Television is productiong a one-hour documentary `Weddings From Hell 2003` for ITV1 in the UK. The programme will look at various disasters that have taken place on wedding days. Some of the stories shown on previous programmes include forgetful vicars, fainting brides and grooms, dropped wedding cakes, flooded reception halls, family feuds and nightmare guests.
We are on the look out for new stories to include in the show this year and would like to hear from you if you have come across any entertaining wedding tales.
`Weddings From Hell` promises to be packed full of wedding day nightmares told by the couples them selves, and backed up with video footage.
Please do not hesitate to contact me via email.
Best Wishes

I think i might have a winner here. Myself and my husband live in the UK. We are of greek origin, and as most of our family lives in Cyprus, we held our wedding there. Only problem was, my father is living in Hong Kong. And when SARS struck, at one point it looked like we would have to hold a wedding without a father of the bride, as there was talk of the whole of hong kong being put into quarantine. We finally made it over that hurdle, (my dad managed to get out) when i was blackmailed by my best woman, and hairdresser who both said that if my dad was attending the wedding then i could count them out (they were worried about being infected by SARS). In the end it all worked out, although having to find a new best woman and hairdresser at such short notice was very stressful!

Hello, my name is Claire Donnelly and I am a feature writer at The Mirror newspaper. I am putting together a feature for our M magazine about real-life Wife Swaps - married couples who have switched partners to form new relationships. I would love to hear from anyone who has done this and would be happy to be interviewed by me about their experiences on the phone. The telephone chat would only take about 15 minutes and we would be happy to pay anyone taking part for their time.
If you think you can help, I am on, 0207 293 3532.
All the best,
Claire Donnelly
