You should probably note what part of the world you`re from in your post. Here in Nova Scotia, Canada there are several places, but I`m doubting that you`re from here.

I am looking for a respectable low budget dress and wedding for my 33yr old daughter. We live on the shoreline in Connecticut. The guest list will be 100 guest, or less. The wedding is tentatively set for the first or second weekend of September, it will be an out door event possibly in a state park, or a private home on the beach. We wish to look into renting her gown. WE are hoping you can inform us. Thank You.

Renting is one of the best ways to go. We have a variety of wedding gowns to choose from.
Ranging from $75.00 to $300 +.

Hi, I just found a dress that was over 600. I got it for 100! IT was at this bridal shop. They sold all these dresses for $100 because they didnt want to deal with the company anymore. Believe me no one would ever know..its perfect! So my advice is dont rent.look in the regular bridal shops in your town. Ask them to show you only the sale, discounted and discontinued dresses. Dont let them bully you into buying an expensive dress. Plus youll still get the experiance of shopping, trying on dresses at a real bridal store. Good luck stacy

Have you looked in the yellow pages? Call and ask bridal shops and see if they rent as well. Some do. Ask them if they have a store they send all of their discontinued models to. Some bridal salons don`t want to have to deal with the older models and have a specified place they send them to. It might take lots of time and energy, but you can find a fantastic dress out there that fits your budget.
Have fun looking and I hope you find what you are looking for. :)

I would also note that many wedding shops have `sales` - I`m thinking of David`s Bridal which often has a $99 sale. Might be the same/ cheaper than renting! Also, try shopping the `prom` section of many department stores. My friend was married in an offthe rack dress from JCPenneys`. Just a thought.

I have a friend of mine, in Nova Scotia, Canada looking for a wedding dress to rent or buy, not too expensive. Thinking of an outdoor reception. She`s planning and paying for everything all alone, her fiance is away, parents refuse to help and money is very tight. Looking for a simple but nice dress. Any location ideas to find one? We only have 1 bridal shop close to us.

I am looking for a place that rents wedding gowns. I have just been laid off and will be getting married this year. I can`t afford to purchase a gown at this point. Is there a place that can offer assistance. I live in the Atlanta area.

I feel your pain BIG TIME! I am trying to do the very same thing for the same reason. I have been to one place in San Diego called A Night To Remember(I think. Its been a little while).
