Can i ask where you`re located? i too have been on the hunt for the same dress for a couple months now. It`s down to that one or a gown by reem acra. Have to make up my mind. Netbride quoted me a bit over $4K for it. Sounds steep but the gown retails for $6-$8K depending where you are, making $4K sound like a bargain LOL. Anyhow, good luck on your search.

Oh, i almost forgot... Also check out ebay, item #2850785730. There`s a bride who wore this dress and is now selling it. It`s a size 10, maybe you can buy it from her if you don`t mind a used dress.

I bought the dress. I live in Atlanta and with the dress, veil and tax and alterations it was going to come to a little over 8K. I did a lot of calling and my wedding is in Minnesota where I am from, they quoted me 6K for the dress and the veil and MN has no tax so I bought it. Craziest purchase I have ever made in my life, but this is one day of celebration where I will have all of the people I love in one room for one day surrounded by an occasion of spending the rest of my life with the man I love. So????? I guess I would make it memorable by buying something so magical and beautiful. Good luck and you cannot possible pick or find a better dress. When I chose this it gave the excitement of planning and the day itself a whole different meaning.

By the way, I should add that at The Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul, I went to Karen, they again have no tax in the state for this item, and they have what you call a cash and carry option where they will give you an additional 20% off the price and you take it with you when it comes in and have altered where you want.

I am stupid today. I went to Kathy at the Wedding Shoppe and not Karen. Also, if you have never seen or tried this gown on, the pictures don`t even do it justice.
