Verbage For Marriage That Already Took Place

I need to know how I can word some statements on half sheets of paper to show that we already took the plunge. At our wedding we decided that we would only have family attend, as our budget was tight (we just bought a house). But we want to tell others that we were married last weekend. How does the verbage work for that? I haven`t found anything that I can use yet. HELP!!!

Send out marriage announcements...a stationer should be able to help you with the wording. It would say something like "Pam A. Clark and Mister S. Right announce their marraige, Saturday August 16 2003" I`m not sure if you include location and time on those but they`d just be small cardstock. Usually you`re supposed to mail those the day of the wedding but since it was so recent you`re still in a decent time frame. I`d try to get those out this week. Again, check with a stationer because I don`t know if you include your new address on the card or what...

I am in the same situation, although my wedding takes place in October. I am thinking of taking one of my wedding pictures and sending them out like a Christmas card. Half of the card will be our picture and the other half will be an announcement of our marriage. I am still struggling with wording. Any ideas?

Thanks for the advice, I found a site that gives verses for eloping and such, so it is already taken care of and I have sent them out in today`s mail.

Could you please tell me the website you found your verbage at. We are in the same boat and I don`t know what to say.
Thanks -
