NEVER ORDER HOB ONLINE
Hello everyone - its very scary reading all the posts but they are so true! My bridesmaids ordered their dresses from HOB online. We ordered 5 dresses seperately. 2 received theirs. One girl got the wrong style and color sent to her and they made her pay for shipping it back AND accused her of being wrong when she had the confirmation letter. She was told to reorder it, before being reimbursed, and when she did that received an email saying her order could not be processed (though they charged her account again) and told her to reorder! I told her to cancel the order and 2 months later has still not been reimbursed for EITHER dress! We did express shipping through Evas bridal in orland - they are fantastic!
Then, my other bridesmaid got an email that was very strange asking for her code on the back of her cc. She didnt feel comfortable emailing it to her and asked her to call her so she could speak to a customer service rep. They replied they do not use phones to contact customers. So she went back and forth with them and got refunded finally and ordered another dress from Evas - where again we had great service.
And my third of five bridemaids never heard anything, no emails, and finally was like, where is my dress? they wouldnt give her any info b/c she didnt have the order # so when she finally found it, we were at 5 wks out from the wedding. I finally got an email from someone saying they had sent her 3 emails saying there was a billing issue and they sent it to refunds.
WHy can`t this company pick up a phone and tell them that their order is being cancelled? Is that so much to ask? Obviously the emails were not getting through (they went to her spam). To just cancel an order is ridiculous.
So- we have 5 weeks to go and 1 missing dress! (Evas in Orland was great and got the two dresses here and have already arrived)
If you order online from HOB - which you should NOT, ALWAYS check your emails and be prepared for NO CUSTOMER SERVICE - AT ALL!!!!!
