Medieval Wedding(HELP!!!)
I am planning a 10/04 wedding need any help in this type of wedding planning and a Location in the Detoit area please help to this themewedding Thank you .

A few years ago the show " A Wedding Story" did a show with this theme.
The bride on that show had her dress, the grooms outfit, wedding party, parents of the couple outfits all made. Her dress was white as well as the grooms outfit. It also was embellished with gold threading. The bride, her mother and grooms mother had hair pieces put in ( braided) to look more like women of that era also.
The wedding party had the same colors. I think she had one bridesmaid in royal blue and her escort in the same , one in royal purple and her escort in the same. This idea was repeated with all the wedding party and the parents. I noticed most of the guests wore this type clothing too. I am not sure if she suggested a place to rent or someone to make costumes if they chose.
They did a lot of research on medevil times. They had a band who played this type of music. They even took a dance class to learn one dance of that time period.
The food consisted of turkey legs ( of course), grapes etc. It turned out great!
I would surf the web for what traditions were for that time period and incorporate them into your own.

Thank you Sissy wish I had that artical I have found alot of knowledgeable info. Finding it all in a budget and a place local for the dresses is another thing but dreammaiden1 has been just fabulous and very helpful and thank you again for the info maybe I can try to find the back issue every bit helps!
