In response to the query re how much dance floor is needed. The rule of thumb is that about 30% of your guests will be on the dance floor at any one time. So 100 ppl=30 dancers 12ftx12ft flooring, 150pl =50 dancers 15ft x15ft flooring and 200 ppl =70 dancers 18ft x18 ft flooring.
Someone mentioned that they had instructions on how to build a portable dance floor. I would appreciate it if these could be emailed. The hire venue has carpet laid which is difficult to dance on. So the portable flooring doesn`t need to last forever, so long as it lasts the night. Tnks.
