Ideas For Daisy Theme Wedding

Hi Everyone,
My name is Nette, I am getting married April 17,2004. I am leaning toward cornflower blue dresses and daisies.
I would love to hear your suggestions for a daisy theme wedding. We are having our wedding inside our church.

Thanks
Nette

I was originally going to have a daisy theme wedding becuase of my name (you know, Shasta daisies), but I am getting married in October so I switched to a fall theme. I did find a cute saying for a daisy wedding favor. You get a packet or make your own of daisies and attach a little note that says, "He loves me, he loves me not, he loves me, we tied the knot".

How about personalized candy bar wrappers with daisies on them? It could be so attractive and make great favors! If you want any specific info, let me know at ddnj@juno.com. What a beautiful theme! Good luck!

Incoroporate bright yellow in your color pallette. Use it for the ribbons, chair cover bows, napkins, aisle decor. For your centerpieces, place a blue napkin in the middle of the table place a round mirror on top and a floater bowl with 3 large yellow gerbera daisies. Or spray paint small watering cans bright yellow and fill with daisies. Place a votive candle on each napkin point and sprinkle daisy petals on the napkin. Instead of table numbers call each table by a daisy variety..Shasta, miramar, gerbera, venusta, chesapeake etc. For wedding favors you can give flower seed packets that have been personalized. A good site to find these is plantamemory.com.

I`m having an identical wedding only on the 17th of July. I have no idea what to do for bouquets. I want yellow roses and daisies I think but I can`t find anything good to look at. Any ideas?

Lindi,
I`m not sure what colours you are using, but I am having 3 different tones of pink in my gerbera daisy bouquet for a total of 9 gerbs. They will have some pittosporum greenery around the base to kind of fill it a bit. They range from light to dark pink. My bridesmaids are going to have 6 gerbs in the dark pink to offset the light Champagne colour of their dresses. Sounds like you want yellow and white, so why don`t you try a combo of white and yellow and maybe even some orange gerbs in your bouquet. They are fairly inexpensive, yet very casual and beautiful. Good luck.

I am also having a daisy themed wedding in June... My colors are buttercup yellow and sage green. I am carring in bouqet a mixture of yellow and white shasta daisies and my bridesmaids are carrying white shastas to off set thier buttercup yellow dresses. My maid of honor is carrying white shastas but with geranium leaves around them to help distinguiush her from the others.
