My husband and I are renewing our vows for our 10th anniversary with a big wedding next year 9/11/2010. We are having our wedding at a country club close to our house. It is going to be wonderful and I am so excited. When we first got married, we went out of town and got married in a little wedding chaple and my mom was the only family we had there and being that he is the baby of six and the first to get married, his family was upset that we ran off and done it so after 10 years here we go again. I am doing my best to be as cost efficient as I can and do alot myself so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks and Good Luck & Best Wishes to all!

I am planning a religous renewal as our first wedding was a celebrant event with 50 guests. Any hints on keeping to a budget except for my dress of course.
It will be 5 yrs on the 24th march 2012.
So how soon would I need to book stuff for our renewal.

My husband and I are of a different nationality and had a nice traditional wedding. We are looking into renewing our vows in 3 years for our 10 year anniversary. We`re looking at a more "American Wedding" way of doing this with the ceremony, reception and dance. I will have my two boys walk me down the aisle or my husband and I will walk down together. No wedding parties but still have family and close friends involved. Other plans still include toasts and a cake along with the first dance for those couples who have been married for 10 years plus with us taking the lead. I also still plan for a florist and a photographer as well as a videographer. Starting to save for the big day now. The only thing I am still debating is if I want an ivory colored semi-wedding dress or a formal dress in my favorite color.
