Not Inviting Children

My fiance and I want to have a very small, intimate wedding ceremony with only our closest friends and family members. We do not wish to include children at our ceremony or reception. How do we word the invitations to let our friends know that as much as we adore their children, this is an event for adults only? Any suggestions?

Ive been to weddings where the invatation read "Adult reception" and there were not any children ...so i hope that idea helps
