I`ve read statistics about this, that suggest people who can`t spell the words, `why,` `to` or `it`s` have a higher rate of divorce. Strange...maybe intellect (or the lack thereof) has a strong connection to the breakup of a marriage?

Where do you get off coming and posting that to this board.. If your marriage ended in a divorce then Im sorry, but does not mean the rest of us will have a bad marriage... I am very happy with my Fiance and have 3 wonderful children together.. Things could not be more great.. We own our own house and the love between ALL of us is very strong.. We trust each other and honor each other with NO hesitation at all..

IF Your trust and Love for each other is very strong then nothing really should go wrong.. IF You cant talk about problems BUT argue over EVERY little thing, THEN maybe you should think about marriage.. BUT My family is wonderful and WILL continue to stand strong...

Okay, I just found this web site today and was reading this thread. This is absolutely hilarious! First, if you aren`t getting married and you`re on a wedding website.......who needs to get a life? Second, why does anyone find that at all cool to talk like a middle school drop out. Yeah, there are ghettos everywhere. All of the people I knew in high school who talked "ghetto" like that either GREW UP and stopped or are unemployed or working at McDonald`s now, to support their five babies by five different daddies. That doesn`t make you sound cool, so just get over it already! Oh, and on the GET A LIFE subject again, how many days have you been checking back on this post? Yeah, that`s just a little pathetic for someone with no interest at all in weddings.

One can only hope that when Kim returns day after day to this site to check the replies of this message thread, that she will read her own words and see clearly how utterly stupid and pathetic she sounds and looks to everyone. No wonder she doesn`t have a life of any worth or value. Obviosly she is a rude, bitchy, uneducated little brat with too much time on her hands. If she did have any integrity or self esteem she wouldn`t have time to post such nasty verbage on a site devoted to helping women who actually HAVE a life and are happy about planning their wedding day. Alright ladies, we were having fun with this one but I think it`s gotten out of hand. Lisarenee, Kim may not have a life as we call it but "she doesn`t have a life of any worth or value" is going a little too far. I know that was all in fun but pay attention to your words, ladies. There are boundaries between fun and games and just plain cruel.

I have never worked at McDonald`s but I have been in the restaurant business for 10 years and I have all the respect in the world for McD`s employees. Try dealing with the public everyday when you know they have no respect for you because of where you work. It is a national "joke" to work at McDonald`s. Why don`t we all try to have just a little more compassion for those whom some tend to think of as "beneath us." Besides, I absolutely love McDonald`s as horrible as it is for you. I`m very thankful for (and polite to) the employees who work the graveyard shift so that when I get out of my job at the bar at 3 a.m. And haven`t had a chance to eat they are there to give me my #3 with a diet coke. At that time, they`re dealing with the drunks my fellow downtown employees and I have dealt with up until then.


Obviously we know Kim is not from the ghetto. She tries too hard to type how she talks and that`s how we know she`s faking it. This is still real life though, and there are people in your own town who are less fortunate than you so let`s not slam those who have had the unfortunate upbringing in ghetto`s or poverty-stricken areas.

Kim hasn`t posted since 8/20. Either they`ve managed to block her or she`s won...we`re still ranting on about her and it`s been two weeks. She won...the rants and insults and screaming by us on this board are exactly what she wanted us to do. She got a rise out of us and we`re still up in arms over it.

If she does post again, let`s remember that this is just a message board. Yes, we take our weddings seriously and yes we come here to seek and offer advice. Learn to look at the signs of a prankster and brush off the comments. Don`t fuel the fire. And please don`t ever say that someone`s life isn`t of worth or value, or that someone is a mental midget retard. Or slam someone for working at McDonald`s and making an honest living.

Nah, I`m not taking the thread as a whole too seriously...I posted earlier that Kim was trying to hard (who really types the way they talk...). I just was a little shocked to see that someone would say someone`s life is of no worth or value. And I`m just standing up for my fellow service industry workers. Of course we all have fun on these boards, why else would we take the time to come to them, ask questions, give advice, even argue a bit? All I ask is that we all be careful of what we say... There is always room to spare someone`s feelings no matter how angry you are. You come out on top that way.

It`s funny that I come to this board because conflict makes me nervous and I`ve always been sort of a peacekeeper. I just think the comment about the lack of value and worth of Kim`s life was crossing the line a bit and I chose to comment on that. I`m sure she didn`t mean it that way but if I read into it at the harshest level, then who is to say someone else won`t...maybe even Kim? We don`t know who she is...maybe she is a lonely teenager sitting at home contemplating suicide and reading that comment gives her one more reason to try? That is, of course, a complete worse-case scenario. But how do you know, when you say something, that a sibling of someone on this thread isn`t severely mentally challenged or that one of us works at McDonald`s and would take offense to the comment? I guess I`m just always sensitive to what "might" be. As I always say, it`s all fun and games until someone loses a limb.

Case in point...a few weeks ago at the bar I was working at I was talking to an elderly couple and a weird guy came in (we`ve all seen him before). He`s obviously a little slow so after he left the guy I bartend with made a crack about the guy being his brother and said, "Ah, I love the retard." Turns out after talking to this couple for a while they in fact have a retarded son who is a bit older than me. I`m sure they didn`t quite care about the comment and they didn`t offer up that they had a challenged son but Rich sure felt horrible.

Have fun, I`m sure we`ll see Kim/Layla/whoever-she-is again. Just be careful about how far you take the insults. We don`t know who we`re talking to.

I just found this website today, and I will agree that this board is totally funny...On the other hand, it always best to just ignore people who are just trying to get a rise out of you!

Ann, you obviously misunderstood what it was that I was trying to say. Of course every human life is of worth and value. Kim, on the other hand behaves as though hers does not have value in that she finds it amusing to belittle and berate those of us who find marriage a positive thing in our lives. I did not intend to give the impression that I think Kims life is worthless, as this is not at all what I think. I simply think she is a brat, with too much time on her hands. Period.
