Anyone Bought Bulk Flowers In Los Angeles?

We went to the downtown LA wholesale flower district to get an idea on bulk flower prices for my wedding on the beach in Malibu May 09. Wow there are so many choices I didn`t know where to start! We`re planning some very simple ceremony and personal flowers. We`re thinking about equally simple hydrangea centerpieces for the reception.

What I`d like to know from those that have bought bulk wedding flowers in LA is who did you buy from, did you haggle the price and what do I need to know about DIY wedding flowers that you learned?
