I had my fiances ring engraved too! I had them put my name, then our wedding date, and then his name. They left space between of course! It turned out really well!

What about writing I LOVE YOU in another language.
Like the language of his/your origin - ie// spanish, french, italian, etc.
Or a nice saying like to love you always, i do

If you both want to inscribe you could use "i am my beloved, and my beloved is mine." if not, you could use the word "always".

I ran across this website tonight, and I thought I would read some of the posts. This one caught my attention because I to want to inscribe something on my fiances ring.

My idea was to inscribe "Amazed" in his because that is the name of "our" song and the song we fell in love to. It will also be the song that is played as we dance our first dance as husband and wife.

That is just a thought.

I work at a jewelry store and I have seen everything from "your my Favorite" to "to infinity and beyond" (Buzz Lightyear) to "Always and Forever and the date" The most popular is your initials to his intials and the date. Good Luck !!

Thanks to all of you for your ideas!! We got married on September 6th and everything was perfect...it turned out great! Here is what we ended up doing for the rings......

I put "to love you always, I do" on his and he said he wasnt having mine engraved but he ended up calling a day before and had them engrave mine to say.....

"forever 9-6-03" simple but nice, I was very suprised!!! Good luck to the rest of you!!!! Mandy

I was thinking of putting "meant to be" on my fiances ring or "love of my life".

Hi Mandy - eventually I found your message.

I live in Scotland and decided I wanted a Scottish designer to make my rings so I chose Ola Gorie, who are based in the Orkney Isles and hand make each ring. They are not expensive but the fact they make each individual ring just for you means more to me than the price.

They have Gaelic writing on them which reads:

" Tha Gaol Agam Ort "

Which translated means:

" Unto Each Other "

Thought you may like this idea.
