July Wedding Colors

I am getting married in July, 2004. I`m trying to decide on my colors. I really like cranberry / burgandy as the main color and for the bridesmaid dresses, with silver accents in the decorations. I`m really drawn to these colors but I`m wondering if the colors are too dark and dramatic for a July wedding. Any suggestions.
