Presents For Heping????

Hi, I`m hoping someone can help me!

My finace` has a very large immediate family so we are using most of them in the wedding. Such as the readers, eucharistic ministers, guestbook attendant, flower attendants, etc.

My question is.....are they supose to get gifts? If so, does anybody have any suggestions? I don`t want to waste my money on something cheesy that they are just going to throw away, but I don`t have a lot of money to spend on an expensive elaborate present for ALL of them!

Please Help!!!

Hi Kerri,

Not sure if I will be much help here... This is my first ever wedding.. Never been to one..! I have been DEPRIVED! LOL

However, When I asked my mother this question she told me that Usually gifts go to those in the wedding.. Those that are playing a big role and helping out a TON!

The wedding favors/Reception favors are those little gifts for the others who have helped and who did come to share that big day with you! SO they do get a little something.. EVEN if its small and you cant afford something BIG and expensive.. SOMETHING Small is still a Thank you.. SIZE Does not matter.. It is the thought that counts...

For wedding favors I will have a Bag *tulle* filled with Bird seed along with a Wedding card with a bell on it..

For the Reception I will have a Heart shaped soap, and some home made fudge or candy along with a small rose picture frame. THOSE in the wedding will get in their box a Ceramic wedding Bell.. It is white and I will write our name and wedding date on that bell so they have something to remember this day by also as they were IN The wedding.. PLUS the Parents of the wedding will be getting one of those bells.

I hope this helps you out some!! :)

Good Luck and God Bless you on this day!
