Maid Of Honor Problem

HELP!!! I need to find a nice way to ask my MOH to step down. She has been my best friend for about 5 years - however our friendship is taking a turn for the worse - Any suggestions? I still want her to come to the wedding, but do not feel comfortable having her as my MOH. Any suggestions would be great!!! Thanks

Be honest with her about your feelings. Tell her the reasons you are concerned about the relationship without bringing up the Maid of Honor issue. See what she has to say, maybe she feels the same way. Then discuss your wedding. There is obviously something hurting the friendship and if you feel it, I am sure she does too.

Definitely speak to her first without putting her on the defensive. Give her an opportunity to sit down and discuss your friendship like two adults before you consider dumping her from your wedding party. Take her to lunch and try to be a good listener.
