Do We Register?

I am having an intimate wedding (56 people) and am not sure if it would be apprpriate to put on the invites where we are registered. Should we register at all? The ceremony is going to be private with just our parents then we will have a wedding dinner that evening. Help!

You can register if you want, but you don`t put registry or gift information in your invitation. People will ask if they want to know where you are registered.
