I just got the same e-mail after posting my wedding dress on Craigs List!!! omg. I`m so glad you girls posted this, I almost got scammed. They said they sent me the check but I will not be cashing that! I think I will e-mail them and tell them I got the check, cashed it but will not send them a dress or the difference of their money....see how freaked out they get.
All joking aside...... This sucks. I put their e-mail below for future help.

Funny (well, not really)...my wife got scammed and is awaiting a bogus check, but not Jennie this time. Now it`s Pierce R. Gadowski. Mapquest ariel view shows the Vernon Hills address to be a large apartment building with over 230 apartments, ONE of which is a print shop. Their English sucks, but otherwise it`s a pretty well thought-out scam!

They`re also using Pierce R. Gadowski now...same scam! They tried to scam my wife too. Ariel view of the address on Mapquest.com shows a large apartment building with only one business there: Moore Printing (good place to make bogus checks)! A similar scam recently had checks distributed from a valid Bank Of America checking account in Florida (the poor guy didn`t know them), but the BOA address on the check was #1 World Trade Center in New York. I recall one of those suicidal terrorists from 2001 took flight training down in Florida. Is Al Quaeda getting desperate for funds?!?

I just got the same email saying they were going to send 1800$ for the wedding dress i had posted on craigslist, I just recieved the check...I looked up the bank of america address and there isnt one on that road, theres one near it tho, and I got several different names, first one was Sucre Tkach in Maryland, Pierce Gadowski in Illinois, and the name on the fedex envelope was Miriam evasco from georgia..I looked up her linkedin profile, i even emailed her personally on facebook...You`d think after all these people getting scammed theywould get caught!
