It`s never too soon! Your whole wedding formality can be centered around your dress, the only problem is you may find something you like better within all that time.

Wow, congradulations, i know what it is like, you just want to do everything and organise it all. I got engaged in December last year and am getting married on the 13th september this year, so i started arranging pretty much straight away. The only problem with you doing this is that you may find something you like better, is there any chance you guys can bring the wedding forward if you are really keen. Other than that my advice is to maybe hold off for as long as you can, there are new things coming out everyday , and it would be a shame for you to organise something like your dress, only to find something better down the track, goodluck
