Wedding Advise Needes

My name is lizz and i am getting married 1/29/2010 which is on a friday. We chose the date because that will be our 3 year anniversary of us dating. We were going to have my bridesmaids wear red. Of course i was wondering where exactly to start off. Me and my soon to be husband :) are going to be paying for it so we need it to be cheap. We planned on getting married from one day to the next. Eventhough we have almost a Year to prepare, we dont know what to start with. For example the cards, the dress, the cake, the reception, etc. Please let me know if you have any idea where i could save me some money. Also i live in pasadena, texas. I want something close to Pasadena and cheap, incase anybody knows a place around here.
