Banquet Chair Covers
Great idea - How to save on chair covers!
Let`s take advantage of this message board. If I were to purchase the chair covers and had commitments of a couple others that wanted to rent them from me, I could recoup my cost and then sell the chair covers on ebay.
My daughter is getting married next year, July 17, 2004.
I would like to have chair covers in white with white sashes. In searching the internet, the cheapest rental I`ve found is $3 plus S&H.
Looks like the cheapest price to buy them is about $8 each.
I`d like to rent/buy 250 to 300 chair covers.

Hey,
Are you wanting to rent or purchase? There are rental companies that rent for pretty cheap, but the hidden cost of shipping gets you. The cheapest place I have found to purchase chaircovers is also $8 each, and these are quality chaircovers.
Good luck,

I live in Michigan and there are two places where I found chair covers one for 4.50 which includes the cover the tie and installation. And the other one is 3.00 including the sash. Just thought that would help

I have around 200-250 Ivory Damask chair covers for sale. They are much nicer than the twill or satin chair covers. New they cost around 30.00 each I am willing to sell them for less than half and throw in all of the white tulle sashes that I have.
Thanks, Becky

Donna, You want to rent out the chair covers for cheap after your daughter`s wedding? If that`s the case than I would be interested. I wont be getting married until 2005, but if you still have them then I would be VERY interested if I could rent them from you for cheaper than somewhere else.
Let me know!
Thanks
Katie

I have around 230-250 almost new Ivory color damask chair covers with a very nice patern for sale. I bought them for my wedding that was in October. I would like to sell them as a whole lot and I am asking $10.00 each. This is what I paid for them, I bought them from a wedding planner who used them for 1 wedding. So they have been used twice. Please feel free to email me any questions or if you would like to see photos.
New they cost 30.00 each...I also have about 150 white tulle sashes and 50 green tulle sashes that I will include.
Thanks, Becky

Well I`m getting married May 15, 2004, and I`m making my own chair covers. They are going to be white with black bows. I`m making 200 of them and then I`m planning on selling them along with my center pieces which are hurrican lamps, with mirrors under them. In all I spent about $600 to make my chair covers and to buy my center peices, and rent the same thing that I made and bought myself would have cost my about $1200. Much Cheaper to make your own.

Christy, how did you make them? can you give me the pattern, directions? also where did you find such cheap fabric? how many yards of fabric does each chair cover need? thanks...

Well what we did was buy one yard of fabric to start with and I went to the hall and asked if I could use one of the chairs. We made our own pattern. We drapped the fabric over the chair and pinned it to fit the chair, I think the fabric is 36 inches wide, and then we sewed it up, then I made little black bows and sewed them on the both sides of the chair. They are simple but pretty. I have the first one we made here, so tomorrow i will take a picture of it and email to you if that is ok. The fabric came from Joanne Fabric, it was .99 cent a yard, but we had a 40% off coupon and order 400 yards which cost only $296, then I shopped around and found black cloth ribbon real cheap. Once you see a picture of the chair covers you will be able to make them yourself. If you have a joanne fabric close to your house go and get on their mailing list and you will get a 40% coupon in the mail.

Hi Christy,
I was wondering how much you would sell your chair covers for and if you could send me a picture as well. I will be having 200 guests at my wedding in September. The cheapest chair cover rental I could find was for $5 per chair. Which is still $1000!!! I`m not much of a seamstress to make them myself. But anything would help.
You can email me at Rdeguzman@atmc.com
Thanks!!!
