Pink And Brown Birthday Party

I am a 36 year old female and I will be soon celebrating my 37th birthday on Valentine`s day. My favorite color is pink. I was thinking of having a pink and brown color scheme but I am not sure if it is too childish for my age. It doesn`t matter what shade of pink. Please tell me what you think.
