Wedding Point Aconi Cape Breton

Hi Keianne:

I`m guessing that I`m going to be one of the few who has ever heard of Point Aconi, Cape Breton! We should probably clarify that Cape Breton is an island off the northeastern tip of Nova Scotia, Canada.

Sorry, I don`t know of any videographers or DJs out there. Surely there must be some! Nice to know that there are other Cape Bretoners out there though. When is your wedding?

I just got back from a family reunion Sydney. It was the "Watt Family Reunion" at the Mira River. We had a great time. We stayed at a hotel on Sydney Harbor called "Cambridge Suites". During our 4 day stay at the hotel, there were 2 separate weddings there. Maybe they have some suggestions. Good Luck!

The wedding date is set for August 6th, 2005.
The ceremony will be at St.Johns in Little Bras D`Or, and the reception is at the North Star in in North Sydney.
We were originally going to have it outside between Anita`s and Marylins (from my fiance`s family) but we decided it was to hard to plan an outdoor wedding as an away wedding.
We have chosen Lotheringtons for flowers, but I have GOT to get a videographer to bring a video back home to Alberta!
If you are familiar with the area, I would love to discuss more wedding questions with you!

I have done NOTHING new about our wedding.
We have the North Star booked for the reception, and the brunch the next day.
My plan WAS to phone every morning before work - because of the THREE hour time difference - till things were arranged. But I never get up early enough!!
I will keep you posted.
We are using Lotheringtons for flowers because they deliver.

When I got married in Cape Breton we had a terrific DJ...he worked for CJCB radio and his name was ALEX. If you call the radio stations, I bet they would give you some names and some ideas.

There is a DJ named Jeff that lives in Little Bras D`Or .. He is an amazing DJ .. Just got back from a benefit dance for my boyfriends uncle and the music was truly amazing .. I should`ve got a business card from him but i wasn`t thinking .. Sorry about that ...
