Riu Palace Wedding
My Fiance and I are getting married at the Riu Palace, but we arn`t sure what part of the property we should have the ceremony at? Does anyone have any comments on what may be better( gazebo, beach area or garden)?

Stephanie-
My fiance and I just vacationed at the Rui Palace! What a beautiful location!!!! I always said that if we ended up marrying there I would like to do it at the gazebo/garden area between the two guest room wings (the area right outside of the dining area by the fountain and the wading pool near the bridge). While we were there, there were a few weddings taking place and a few of them were down on the beach and others were up near the resort. I just think that the resort itself is so beautiful and elegant that that would be absolutely PERFECT!!!!
I wish you all the best luck in planning your Rui Palace wedding!!! A friend of mine just told me today that she and her fiance are honeymooning there this coming November!!! It will be absolutely gorgeous!!! If you want any more advice or anything let me know. My email is: dukie41181@aol.com
GOOD LUCK!

Hi;
Congrats on your appraoching wedding at the palace. It is so beautiful there. I am trying to plan a destination wedding myself. Who did you contact to find out the details about weddings at Riu Palace?
Thanks;

My fiance and I are trying to plan a destination wedding. We were going to have it at the moon palace, but after visiting it, we decided against it. We are not sure what to do. We are thinking the Rui Palace, or royal hideaway. We would like to bring kids, so that would exclude the royal hideaway. If anyone has any suggestions, comments or thoughts, please HELP. Feedback on both resorts would be great. We could get married at the rui, then honeymoom at the hideaway. One concern is the alcohol, we like top-shelf, does either hotel offer better alcohol?
Thanks for the help.

My husband and I were married in Mexico in January of this year. If you are getting married in the Mayan Riveria may I suggest contacting Cancun Bridal, there is a building that was being built when we were there. It was almost done and we were married there. The building is of marble and stone and was absolutely amazing. We then went to the beach afterwards and took pictures. The gardens in this building are amazing. The building is right across the street from the Riu Playacar.
