Mother Of Groom`s Dress

So many people have advised me not to wear a dress even close to the color white. But i have seen many "Mother`s" dresses even in pure white on-line. What do you think??

Speaking for my personal opinion...I had my mom and mother-in-law wear a light taupe color. I did not want anyone else to be in white but me. I all depends on your personal preference. If you need any ideas, let me know!! The pressures of planning this event can be a bit much. I had a Christmas wedding (12/21/2002)

It`s safer not to wear cream or white, even if the bride isn`t offended, it`s bound to set someone off.

I think my mom is going to try for light blue (the color of my bm`s dresses). I`m not sure what my f`s aunt will do...she wore a pinkish number to her sons wedding and I don`t want her to spend a lot of money for us so whatever she wears is fine with me. Besides all eyes are on you anyway :)
