Good Ideas For A Cinderella Themed Wedding

Hi,
My husband and I were married in Walt Disney World in January and I wore a princess-type dress and tiara. It was magical.... No we plan on having a Cinderella-themed wedding reception in Sept. I`ve been cruising the net and stores and found clear plastic Cinderella slipper favors at craft stores and on ebay. I was going to put a rolled up scroll with a royal announcement of our wedding on them. I also found castle shaped soaps in a clear vellum bag with ribbon. And pumpkin shaped carriage centerpieces looked nice with ivy around them on a table or a card box decorated with tulle and lights. I`d like to keep the cost down, so I`m looking for less expensive type favors. If you have any ideas, please help.

I am having a wedding LOOSELY based on the cinderella syndrome (lol) and would love to hear some centerpiece/decoration ideas if you have any. I already have the pumpkins growing in the backyard! and am going to TRY and make two tiara`s for each centerpiece to `toss` beside the pumpkin and if that doesn`t work I am going to spray paint a hand full of acorns gold and toss them on the table too..the only other thing that I am thinking about doing is scattering some glittler on the table too..other ideas would be awsome too please. Ok, for my ceremony, after I walk down the aile I am going to have my ring bearer walk up, but instead of the rings on the pillow he is going to carry one of my shoes, and then my fiance will put the shoe one my foot before we start. What I am planning on doing is wearing a pair of shoes the same hieght as the glass slippers I am going to get, then my maid of honor is carrying up the other glass slipper, she is going to act like she is just fixing my dress and I am going to slip the other pair of shoes off, she is going to reach under and grab those and put the other glass slipper on. Our ceremony is going to be at sundown with lights all over, to give it the magical look. I am havin gsomebody make a castle out of cardboard, and we are painting it to use as a back ground behind us when we get married. For the reception, our first dance we are going to dance to So this is love.. The waltz version...from the cinderella soundtrack...and we are learning how to do the waltz to it! for the table my centerpieces I am taking a mirror, probably round, and getting plastic glass slippers( you can find them on ebay!!) and putting two on a mirror with a floating candle in a glass bowl in the middle..with sliver glitter sprinkled all over. Look on ebay under cinderella wedding you will find everything there!!! but be careful cuz there are some people out there charging way to much like for a cinderella and prince charming globe, you can get that at walmart for 15.00 and the cinderella fountain people are trying to sell for 60 you can buy it at walmart for 20! also go to shindigz.com look under wedding they have castle centerpieces and stuff! its a good website...and you can search under google.com and type in cinderella theme weddings and it will give you a bunch of stuff! there is a lot of stuff out there!!!! my colors are going to be baby blue, and a darker blue and silver, because her dress is two different colors of blue, and a lot of the cinderella things out there are those colors, plus you need a lot of sparkle!!! our invitations are going to be magnets, and our thankyous are going to be scrolls...thats all I can think of right now I will email u some more when I can think of it!!! good luck!! you can email me anytime for any questions... Oh and I am also getting a watermelon, cutting it in half, scooping out all the watermelon and putting cut up fruit in side... Get horses out of the toy section and get some wire to make wheels to turn it into a carriage, I tried it the other day and it looked so cute! I just decorated flowers around it too and sprinkled silver glitter around it!

Right now walmart has cinderella globes, and I found 4 here in my town on sale for 5 dollars!! so we are going to use those for some, and then the mirrors, with glass slippers on it with a floating candle in the middle, with silver glitter sprinkled around it . Or there is a website called shindigz.com it has really awesome castel centerpieces and it has castles you can buy for backdrops! I`m not sure how I got to the castle stuff in shindigz but just look around and you will find it. And you can just search for cinderella wedding, and it gives you websites with ideas, or go to ebay and type in cinderella wedding, that will give you some ideas!!! good luck!!!
