Barbeque Wedding
My fiance` and I met at a Barbeque last December. We are thinking about getting married in March. I have been married before but he hasn`t so I still want to do something nice, and I think it would be neat to have a Barbeque Wedding. Any Ideas???

I think that is a great idea for a layed back style wedding. I guess the barbeque would mostly be for your reception. We actually did that for our rehearsal dinner. I am sure that you could use the same concept. We did sort of a Carribean theme, b/c that is where we were going on our honeymoon. We bought fabric w/ fish to use as table runners over blue table cloths. We had empty root beer bottles with candles in some and flowers in others for centerpieces. You could do some sort of theme using a place that is famous for its barbeque, such as Memphis. You could have blues music and decorate with alot of lights. Texas is also famous for their barbeque...think longhorns and the alamo. Just an idea.

I appreciate your ideas. Yes, it would only be concerning the reception. It sounds neat what you did for yours. I do agree with the first response that it would be a little messy but there are so many of our family and friends that were there when we met. I really think they would like that addition to our wedding.
