I`m Back!!! My Quince Last Saturday Rocked!!!
Oh my gosh, Last night/ saturday the 26th of July, 2003 waz the best freakin day of my life, there is nothing that can top it in the future or from the past, now i don`t wanna get married because i think my wedding will be in competition with my Quinceanera... I got really nervous and started tearing up when i first pulled up, but then my aunt took me into the bathroom ta help me cool off! There were people already waiting for me to show up out side, it was like i was cinderella, hell it waz better than the movie, the waltz was perfect, and almost everyone cry`d when i sang, i can`t sing for them again because i wan`t that night to remian special, the hall was beautiful the flowers were great my family waz there, my friends were there, i was told i was beautiful all night (they have to say that , but still i loved 2 hear it)
I really believe that you have NO IDEA, not even a little bit of an idea of how much people luv you, untill u have this party, you cant ever grasp the idea of how m,uch u are loved, but at you quinceanera, u get a glimpse of it, and it`s a beautiful thing!!!
This quince was thrown by my step family, my step dad is the man i call dad, and i will never forget when he said to me in his speech "I remember the days u started calling me daddy..." I started crying, i do remeber those days i`m still the gurl who luvs hims like he`s my daddy, and refuse to call me real dad , DAD! That was very special!!! *~ <3 ~*
As far being thankful, i cant describe how thankful i am, i really didn`t deserv e it, and i didn`t go away empty handed, i got asked out by one guy and kissed by another so it`s all good... IT`S ALL gOoD!!!
I FEEL like such a diferent person after that night i can`t describe it , but i`m different, and i feel like now i`m really livin life, it`s a whole new beggining, and it couldn`t get any better, for those of you who think you quince is a wait or was, i`m really sorry u feel that way, and for those of you who can`t have one because of money, i`m really really sorry, e-mail me i can help you figure somethuing out, i`ll get you in my prayers because God was so good to me, the same goes for you!!!
One more thing, the video camera is a life saver!!!
It`s like when you have one of those nights with a crush, and u keep replaying it in your mind, when the things i replay in mind, are all on vidoe so when i watched it i was like OMG, I get to remeber this forever, if i`m sa i can just watch thhis and get all happy again, and when i die (not to be mormid) But it`ll help them remeber the real me, and not just a picture.

Nope, there`s no special amount, i`d say that he should get her something unique like jewelery, or just be a normal teen and give her a gift card, inside a card, but what makes it special is that he gives her a bouquet of flowers or roses!!! Thats special, well at least for me!

My escort sent me a big HUGE bouquet of yellow roses. Of course yellow roses mean friendship but that was the color I used so I think that`s why he got them. But I loved them and they were in my pictures and they looked so beautiful...next to me of course(LoL).

Hey Jennifer, yeah i don`t got pictures, from inside the part that i can put on the i-net, cuz i don`t got a scanner, or anything, and my aunt who went back to oregon has the pics with me and my chambelan de honor, and the other chambelans and me, outside, but i have to wait till she send me a disc with pics or until i go visit her in oregon next week, because i live in washington, and i can always e-mail you from down there!!!

Joanna I know exactly how you feel gurl. Mine was on the twenty sixth of july also. I will never forget that day. Everything went right and I got several compliments. It feels good to have so many people admire you for that one day. I`m not one that usually wears dresses so for me it was a big change. I wish I could do it all over again. For once I was the princess. The father daughter dance was my favorite part. I did mine with my dad and stepdad well g2g hope all u gurls enjoy yours because it only comes once in a lifetime!!!!!!

I am planning a sweet sixteen as well in January 2004. What vendors would I need to get... I know a Photographer, Videographer, Florist, what other items is appropriate. Did you have a theme?? Did you have a court??? what was your colors?? What type of favors did you give out??? Did you give your court if you had one a gift??? and one last questions what was your schedule like??? How did you conduct your party...

Besides the ones u listed a DJ, Catorer (sp?) thats if u`re not serving it you`re self, limo, if you want one, Ballons, either someone to deliver them, or if youre doing it youre self you`ll need to rent a hellium tank, thats all i can think of, oters have much more i`m sure.
Did you have a theme??
No, not really on purpose but i guess you could say it was flowers but mostley pink rose was the theme :)
Did you have a court???
Not a full court of damas and chambelans, but 5 chambelans total, and 1 of which was the chambelan de honor.
What was your colors???
My colors were pink!
What type of favors did you give out???
The favors where little heart shaped containers that opened, they said mis 15anos, and they had lace, same thing with the little plastic fans with a gurl on it, and oh yeah my name was on them, and the date, also people took the table centerpieces and boquets of floers home, the centerpieces where a 4 by glass mirror with lace around it, then placed in the uper cornor was a crystal cup with a floating candle, pink rose placed, then written on the mirror WAS:

How did you conduct your party...
Very carefully, made sure we limited the people comeing because of food, and wanted no violence, it was in a very nice area, by the waterfront so there wasn`t a bunch of stray mexican men coming in of the street only there for alcohol, there was only one rule, mess up, and u`re out no matter what or who you were even if it was my mom or dad, no exceptions, everything went great!!!

I know this question wasn`t for me but the same thing happened so i`ll tell you how i got a kiss with so many people around. My quince was in a golf club and there was an outside patio area where the party was at. There was an inside part and a lobby part. I got the kiss in the lobby part cuz no one was there. But right after my dj passed by so we got lucky. LoL

The one that i kissed was this young boy who`s family gave me a gold watch, and where huddled around me, and he`s was looking at me in such awe so i kissed him and he started drooling it was so funny but i really didn`t care there was probley only like 10 people watching, and then this older guy kissed me he was one of my chambelans, and he wasn`t even the guy i wan`ted to kiss me, it was all so sudden and late at night i`m sure no one noticed cuz it took me a few seconds, like did he just kiss me ?, then i was like okay "oo thank you very much"...but i haven`t seen him since the party... So sad! Oh well!
