Inexpensive Roses

That is exactally what I plan on doing. The woman that I will use to do my flowers told me that she can`t get them cheaper anywhere.

This might sound silly, but have you tried contacting any of your local grocery stores that sell flowers, about buying bulk????
The Weis supermarket I go to has the most beautiful long stem roses I have every gotten anywhere and that includes the fancy florist shops. They actually SMELL wonderful too, which some roses don`t do . I usually buy mine for $9.99 -12.99 a dozen depending on the time of year( I do flower arrangements), and the lady behind the flower counter told me if I ever needed a large order she could probably get the store manager to go even lower.

Maybe you could check a few markets out for price and quality.

I have two Sams stores that are local- one where I live, and one where I work. So I am shopping at my "local florist"- I even got to smell them before ordering.
And 125 stems for $75 ($.62 a stem) is much better than 12 for 9.99 ($.83 a stem- $103.75 for 125).
It might not seem like much but that 28.75 can pay for something else.

If you have a Michaels Craft Store nearby check your sunday paper for their add- several times each year they run coupons for 40% off any one item, I bought my cake stand this way, as well as a garden arch for $5, floating candles 12 for $3 and silk flowers 40% off. I saved over $100 just by waiting for a sale.

It`s hard to wait for sales and search online- but I just don`t have enough money to plan our wedding without doing these things.
