Co-Ed Bachelor/Bachelorette Party
Has anyone ever planned a co-ed bachelor/bachelorette party before?? I know the couple doesn`t want anything crazy... So I have reserved a room at a local restaurant where they met. I`ve got pool, darts, food, beverages, and the music down but what about a theme, decorations and/or games... Any ideas??? I am all alone in planning this and it`s fast approaching - HELP!!

I know exactly what you mean. I`m currently planning a co-ed party. What I came up with is renting two limos (if this is to expensive get 2 people to volenteer to be the drivers and rent SUVs or vans) and have a scavenger hunt. Divide the guests into two teams (I`m doing guys against girls) sent them out for 2 or 3 hours with digital or disposible camera and a list of things they need to take pictures of. It makes it more entertaining if you have the groups doing funny stunts. If the picture idea is to expensive or not your cup of tea you can make the list of common items you might find around your town or city. After the 3 hours are up have everyone meet back to a catered meal so everyone can eat and talk about their time and pass the pictures they took while the scores are being tallied.
In our instance we are having the losing team sing a karoake song of the winnings teams choice at the wedding.

I am also planning a co-ed party, but do have some help. I got an idea from a co worker to video tape the couple separately asking questions like on the Newly wed Game, shut the tape off, ask the other to guess how they would respond, turn it back on and see how they did. I am still trying to come up some other ideas, tho. I have the transportation, food, dance club all nailed down, it`s just the game thing I am up in the air about. We are taking a bus into Chicago (we are 30 min away) and doing Jello shots and whatevre else on the way. The scavenger hunt was another idea, but instead of pictures having to come up with a person whose bday is the same as the wedding nite, finding a person nmaed so and so, and I too would pit the guys against the girls. If you gte any other ideas, would you mind sharing/ It`s probably the only time i will do this big of an event, (I only haqve 1 sister) and i really want it to be a success. Good luck!!!

The scavenger hunt is the best idea I have heard so far. I found a couple of other games but they are primarily for parties that aren`t mobile like blindfolding the bride and having her guess which mans butt is her hubby`s. If I hear of anything else fun to play I will post it.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

My husband and I are currently hosting a co-ed bachelor -bachelorette party too. I am so lost. My brother is only 18 and my best friend is 21 and pregnant. This is hard because my bro drinks so that is fine but my friend cannot. She is afraid of getting bored. I am trying to get pregnant too so, I will not be drinking either. BUT how do I keep the party interesting and fun without problems from drinking??? and people getting bored?? We are not having the traditional strippers because neither wants them. But other fun sexual stuff will be displayed.

A co-ed bachelor/bachelorette party is a supremely bad idea. No guys will be into it, even if they say they will. A bachelor party is suppose to be a send-off from singlehood by a man`s male friends -- one last night of acting stupid. Same thing for women, I guess. The only women who should attend ought to be naked.

This is our co-ed party plan; the future Mr. And Mrs. Came up with the idea. Were all contributing money to stay in a six bed loft room at the local water park resort. Were going to play board and card games in the room, have a few drinks, maybe order pizza, and the next day were going to play at the water park all day. Were all in our late twenties and we have "settled down" a bit when it comes to bar hopping!!

Ok I am planning a bachelor/bachelorette party for my fiance and myself. I plan to have the wedding party and friends in a party bus partying and (NOT inviting the guys wives--they are poor sports) taking us out to popular strip clubs in the area...no the girls are not gay we just LOVE strip clubs ...weird I know...so we plan on getting the DJ to get the guys up on stage on chairs and blindfold them all and me and my maid of honor are going to give them lap dances (obviously I am not giving the groomsmen lap dances she is going to) and then after they get all worked up and have fun un blindfold them..... BTW to "Jerry" it didn`t look like Dave Navarro had any lack of fun when he and Carmen Electra had a couples Bachelor bachelorette party together....I guess it depends on how much fun the bride really is

I am currently putting the final touches on a Bachelor/Bachelorette party myself. We are going to do it at Dave and Busters. There is a pool table and TV in the room we rented. You get a ton of options of entrees and a Power Card for about $15.99 per person. No one is obligated to take that package, so if they want to just drink they can. The best thing about Dave and Buster`s is the games are already there! We are also doing a poker type thing for the guys because they all love to play. Just an idea. ;]

We have just plain run out of time to plan the big bachelor/bachlorette parties... So we`re having a bachelor/bachelorette party too. Everyone is coming to a lake house/campout... Everyone`s bringing tents, their own alcohol, there`s a pool, a hot tub, a fire pit, a karaoke stage, and several boats and jet skis... I think it`s going to be GREAT!! We`re charging $30 per person for the Saturday BASH... Then getting Costco filet mignons, bacon wrapped shrimp, and other delicious finger foods to munch on that day, along with 2 kegs of beer... I`m also thinking of some sort of door prizes to give away! I think even Jerry would have fun at this one!
