Please, Please HELP!!!!
I have less than 2 weeks until my wedding, and the lady who was going to do my flowers bailed on me. I am using all silks. I am on a very limited budget, so i figured i can make them myself (with help of a friend). I think i can make the bouquets, but i am clueless on corsages and boutenniers. I tried looking up instructions online, but they are very confusing. I have no idea how to make these. You use some kind of wire and that green tape right? Oh i REALLY hope someone can please help me!!!!! I want to make them in the next couple of nights.

I just got married and my mother made all my flowers. The boutineers were very simple and she had about 7 of them made in about 2 hours. I am not a crafty person and do not know the proper names of the green tape, so I apologize for lack of. She took one of the flowers and cut it about two inches down the stem, then she took a leaf off and taped that green tape tightly around it about twice. Then she took a saftey pin and secured it into the green tape in the back. As far as the corsages, i am not too sure how she did that. Just as an idea, why could you not do the same thing, but instead of sticking a saftey pin through it, tie a pretty lace ribbon around it and then tie the corsage on? I really hope I helped, please let me know how it went..

Vannie,
Here is how I`m doing my flowers. Gabby has the right idea with the bout. And coursages. The tape you use is called floral tape. For the bout. Take a single flower (I`m using roses but anything will do) cut the stem about 2 inches from the flower. Wrap the stem with the floral tape and hot glue some leaves and baby`s breath to the back of the flower and maybe add some ribbon to the bottom. The coursages are about the same concept. I`m using three rosebuds for mine, add the leaves and baby`s breath. Add a big ribbon or tulle ribbon to the bottom of the stem, it will make a big difference. Check out this web site they have some good instructions in the flower section on how to make them also. They include pictures too.

Also how did your bouquets turn out, I remember another post asking for help with them.

Vannie,
You can do this on your own. I don`t know if you are even interested in fresh flowers but, you can go to a place like Sams club or Costco. A dozen roses are $14 (they are long stem and gorgeous). You can order them if you need lots. Go to a craft store ask them where their pretty pins are for things like hats and corsages. Also pick up some of that green tape. Keep it simple and just pin on. Today most brides are using those short stemmed bouquets that are just wrapped with green tape and a nice ribbon. I practiced and it looks great. Good luck (Indi in California)
