Music To Walk Down The Aisle To

I am getting married on June 26, 2004. I would like to use Rod Stewart`s "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You" to walk down the aisle to. Either played by the organist or a tape played. It is my fianc`e`s and my song. Does that sound too cheesy or out of the ordianry? We are only having 30 guests and no music at our reception for us to dance to the song. It really means a lot to me, but I am not sure if it is appropriate.
Thank you

If it means alot to you - then it is completely appropriate, it YOUR wedding, make it what YOU want, not what you think other people want!!! I want to walk down the aisle to a classical Pachabel song, and by God, I`m gonna do it!!

I am going to use the classical wedding march when I come down the aisle, but using Pachabel for when the moms are being seated and when my attendants walk down the aisle. I feel you can really use whatever makes you happy.

You walk to whatever you want to walk to. I think that it would be absolutely beautiful. A wedding is about your fiancee and you showing the world what it is that makes you love each other. Use your song, that is about as honest and real as any wedding can be.

I agree that you should walk down the aisle to anything you want, but make sure its not TOO slow.
I also am getting married and a lot of the songs that I chose to walk down the aisle to were definatly too slow.

If you are getting married in a church be sure that that song will be "allowed." Some churches only allow specific songs.
