I would like to buy one of your Jim Hjlem gowns. But they are to large for my size. How much can i alter the dress?

You can alter the dress up to three sizes without it changing the dress and it will not cost you more than it would to have it altered slightly. If you are looking at one of the dresses that is a size 12 it measures bust (at the fullest spot) 37.5 waist (about 1.5 inches above the belly button) 28.5 and hips (around the fullest part of your bum) 49.5 so they run much smaller than a normal size 12 and you can take it down to a 6 which measures bust 34 waist 25 and hips 36. Rule of thumb in bridal is that designers run about 2 sizes smaller than street clothes, hope that helps.
