Tattoos And Wedding Gowns Dont Mix?
I`m crossing my fingers and hoping that most of you are sympathetic to my plight. I have two tattoo`s that are on my back. Both would be visible on the wedding day. Have any of you used a cosmetic cover up kit? Any one have the same problem??? I`m thinking of letting them show. A little fairy is not that bad. After all, my fiance loves me tattoo`s and all :)
But i`m still open to suggestions.

If you and your fiance both like the tattoos leave them, I wouldn`t cover them up just because your afraid of what people might say. I you like them then that`s all that matters.

I have a large tattoo on my entire upper back. I am wearing a strapless dress for my wedding so the entire thing is going to show. Not everyone in my family knows about it...especially dad. I have not come across any cover ups that would look natural enough to wear, so I think i am just going to let everyone see it. I have a feeling it will be the last thing on their mind on my wedding day. Good luck with yours!

I too have a Tattoo on by right shoulder that I got when I was 16. Now I hate it. I decided that when I got married I would make sure that I had the dress designed to cover it, even if it had to be taylor made. That`s the route I would go.

For those of you who DO decide to cover the tatoo, try the cosmetic cover-up called Dermablend. It`s especially made to cover wine-stained birthmarks, etc and comes in various shades, even tan/bronze. It`s available at most of the upscale department stores cosmetic counters like Macy`s. They even have their own website. Hope that helps!

I also have a tatoo. It is on my left shoulder. I had every intention of getting a dress to cover it...but the dress that I fell in love with has spaghetti straps...go figure.
I am going to try to find make up to cover it if I can ( my mother in law to be is adiment about me covering it)
On the other hand...it is a part of me that is not going away any time soon...so it is not my top priority to cover it.

About tattoos, i have a huge cross on my back that i got when my brother passed away. It says "all you need is love" in it. I made sure you could see the whole thing when i had my dress on. If it was anything else i might cover it up but it`s a way that he can be there with us on my wedding day and i wouldn`t cover it up for all the money in the world. I also have my lip pierced and i dont intend on taking that out, either. So go for it.... Dont change yourself for anyone.

I have a tattoo around my arm and I am looking to have it covered up for my wedding. Some people have told me to look into covering it with spray cover up. It is suppose to last three days and you do not have to worry about it coming off on your wedding dress. Check out your local salons.
