Need Help With Centerpeices
My wedding date is 10-8-04 and I really don`t have a "theme", but the bridesmaid dresses are navy. My problem is I can`t find any centerpeices that I like. I tried to make topiaries, however this did not turn out very well. If anyone has any ides, or knows of somewhere to get topiaries made, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Selling 10 brand new gorgeous silk flower topiary style centerpieces I made for a wedding that was cancelled.
Good for a Fall wedding, plum/lavendar flowers, white taper candle in middle. Can e-mail a picture.

I made my center pieces, and everyone complemented me on them,,,, I got a small glass globe from Wal-mart (they cost me $.50 ea) I put white sand and I got some gold and silver sand from a craft store, and I got some Gold and silver Butterflies and Dragonfies rubins at Michaels, , got white flower rings and I did put votive candles in the globe, they really look great and they did not cost me more then $5.00 a piece.
I hope this help.. Good luck

I made 15 centerpieces for my daughter`s wedding. I spray painted a 5-1/2" tall terrecotta rose pot, hot-glued a styrofoam ball half-way into it, and then arranged artificial flowers and leaves into it so that the styrofoan did not show. Actually, I first hot glued leaves to the ball to cover it, but that step can be omitted. Then I sprinkled rose leaves on the table around the centerpiece. They really were lovely, and they became gifts for the mothers, g-mothers, and attendants. To make sure that no one else took them, each one had a note on the bottom saying who it was for. When the pot was picked up, the note, attached by ribbon, dropped into view. I did a lot of price comparison shopping for pots, flowers, balls and bought in a number of places. These were the proper height for guests to "talk" over; topiaries were too tall. Mama M

I am pretty partial to the "Tower" type of centerpiece. They are pretty easy to arrange in a fan shape. They come in various qualities for most any budget.
