Excluding Younger Children From Invitations

What is the proper way to exclude young children from a small wedding for an older couple? The couples siblings, children and grandchildren are being invited, but great grandchildren will be too much for many of the guests to handle (especially to the couple). Should there just be an age cut-off or simply exclude "young children"?

The proper way to "exclude" children....You address your Outer envelope to Mr.and Mrs. (or what it should be) You DO NOT ADD "AND FAMILY" TO THE OUTER ENVELOPE!!
When you add the names to the inner envelope----You ONLY add the names of the guests that YOU EXPECT TO ATTEND.
