Stagette

That is exactly what a Stagette is all about. It is our pay back for awfull dresses and funked up-do`s we are made to wear so the bride looks and feels like a princess. This is our chance to take out all our pent up anger at your blissful happiness. The more we love you means the more we have suffered under your rediculous demands and perfect weeding ideas, the more we will make you suffer this night. You humiliate us in thoes hidious bridesmaid dresses, we humiliate you in the lifesaver shirt. Eye or an eye!!

Sorry --- I agree with Laura, I feel some (not all, but some) of those parties get a bit out of hand and are not very tasteful.

I`ve opted to not have a party like that -- instead my MOH is having a champgne brunch for me and the bridesmaids and then we are going to the spa for the day.

I don`t necessary think that all bachlorette parties are tasteless - but some really push the envelope.

Oy...I`m a bartender. Don`t even get me started on bachelorette parties. I`ve had enough shrieking in my ears and NO, you don`t get a free shot! You`re the fifth b-lette party tonight! I`m going to need a hearing aid by the time my wedding rolls around next year...

So, What are some of the fun things that EVERYONE has enjoyed from stagettes? Any ideas, I am the MOH and I really want everyone to have a fun time, how can we have fun without pissing off the bride? How can I make this a night to remember, for the right reasons? Any ideas, or suggestions?

I am trying to plan my sisters stagette and it is not an easy task. Most of the ideas online are really trashy. Here are some classier ideas I`ve thought of so far:
-Breakfast at tiffany`s/ Audrey hepburn theme, including getting our hairdone 50s style.
-Getting cool pictures taken.
-Going for a hike with a surprise picnic.
-Going ziplining/bunjy jumping in the day
-having strawberries, chocolate fodue, and champagne, then going out on the town to a lounge.

It`s really hard to settle on an idea actually! Lets keep em coming!
