Quince Doll`s

The “My Sweet Quince Girl” collections are premium ceramic dolls imagined and brought to life by Paula Rangel; best known around her circle as the “Comadre Chingona!” exclamation mark included – a marker that was given to her by the many women and their children, she has helped, while on her crusades to Fight Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse. When asked why “My Sweet Quince Girl?” She replied; “I wanted a doll that would reflect the Latina in me; my brown skin… my round eyes… and the colorful dresses I remembering seeing as a young girl.” The My Sweet Quince Girl doll is a Latin tradition; it’s the last doll a young girl receives – given to her on her 15th birthday, as she begins her journey into womanhood. Naturally, each collection reflects this tradition, and heritage; with each stroke of the artist’s hand, the individuality of a young and vibrant, Latina; strong and full of life
