African Wedding Plans

Well, I had a ceremony broom, you know, for jumping the broom. I am making them. I made mine in gold with two flowers up top..one for me and one for him, and I wrapped the stem in gold ribbon soo pretty and glued it all along the way so it would be a sturdy hold, and put cowry shells up the stem part. I did a silver one for my friend.
You jump the broom after the ceremony, before you walk back down the aisle. Or you can do it wherever in the ceremony you want. But that was our choice. I have seen lots of brooms, but too many of them are way too expensive and have wayyy too much stuff on them and look very cluttered. I think mine is more classy. What are your colors?? I can do in other colors. You can also do searches for african american related items. I can`t post the sites here cause they will delete your post if you do.
