Western Wedding?

My fiance and I are planning a western wedding in July of next year (04). We want to keep it simple because this is a 2nd, and last, marriage for both of us. About 50 guests. Between us we have 6 children ranging from 10 to 24, who will play a part in the ceramony. We have decided on black and white being our primary colors, with lavender accents. Our centerpeices are going to be lavender and white silk flowers in mason jars, with ribbions around them. Also we`re going to have votive candles on mirrors on each side of the centerpeices. I found some tiny cowboy hats for nuts and mints for each of the tables too. And tiny little seed bags with candy corn in them for favors.
The problems we are having is 1). Finding a cake that will fit our theme. I like the idea of a "cupcake tree" but somehow I don`t think it fits in with a "western hoedown". And 2). Is it appropriate to wear white with a 2nd wedding? Does anybody have any good cake ideas that will fit in with our theme and/or any advice on a 2nd-timer wearing a white gown? I would appreciate any advice you all could give me. Thanks and have a great day!!

My first wedding was a "western" wedding. For our cake, we had a bride and groom cake topper who were wearing cowboy hats. ( easy enough to find online or a party store). The rest of the cake was traditional with a few simple flowers.
As far as a white wedding dress, it is customary to not wear white the second time around but these days it`s pretty much accepted for a second time bride to wear white. Have fun!
