NAOMI BRIDAL FORMAL WEAR II (Fort Lauderdale)

I would like to bring to your attention a complaint I have about the overall experience at one of your stores. I am extremely upset about this, and I hope you are able to resolve this situation.

My sister chose this establishment to make her wedding dreams come true. Due to POOR customer service and LACK of communication with the customer, her experience turned into a NIGHTMARE. Not only were the dresses that were ordered in MAY 2003 not finished (alterations), but the owners MIKE EID and his wife RUBY EID added hidden charges. RUBY advised my sister that alterations were FREE for her and the girls that were her bridesmaids. One of her sales girls (Carla) advised my sister that she would provide her veil FREE OF CHARGE with the wedding dress. My sister`s receipt said "PAID IN FULL". All the dresses are PAID IN FULL.

On 7/15/03 the dresses were supposed to be ready. NO DRESSES!! On 7/16/03 dresses were supposed to be ready, NO DRESSES!! 7/17/03 dresses were supposed to be ready.... NO DRESSES!

Not only is my sister`s wedding for 7/19/03, but now we have to fight because these CROOKS added $212.00 for a VEIL and ALTERATIONS that were supposed to be FREE.

The owner MIKE EID was no help at all. He came to shed light on the problem but was NO HELP.

You would think that the owner of the store would try to provide Excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO AVAIL!!!

He was not only RUDE, but he didn`t help the situation.

This place is not recommended for anyone to conduct business. BAD BUSINESS! BEWARE!! DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

I seriously doubt that I will ever buy from your store again, and I will urge everyone I know to steer clear as well.

Here`s what I`d like to see happen: Get adequate staff and work on customer service skills.

STOP Misleading your customers and get a better system of reporting what people are being charged for.

Sounds like a nasty situation. I`d consider a picketing march outside the store...especially when it`s wedding season. Ask for the money back and letter of apology before you agree to leave.

Unfortunately, your posting was discovered after a deposit was taken, but I must corroborate what you have stated.
I would recommend that anyone looking for wedding/bridal dresses NOT go to Naomi`s Bridal as they will rip you off.
On top of that the retail practices of the owner are irrational and illegal.
Save yourself time, aggravation, and lots of money by not going to this store. I lost over $420 with them.
