...DISNEY Themed Reception Ideas Needed...
Hi, does anyone have some do-it-yourself ideas for a Disney themed wedding reception? We already ran away and were married at Disney in FL, and would like to continue the theme to celebrate back home. I have rented a chalet in a park in Sept. 2003, I plan on wearing my Cinderella-type wedding dress.... Please help. Thanks!

So cool you got married at DisneyWorld. What location did you pick?
We actually had planned to marry at DisneyWorld, but had to back out because of money. (Our location was going to be Sunset Terrace at the Wilderness Lodge.) But we are going there for our honeymoon, so I`m happy!!
On to your question.... I can`t think of any ideas at the moment, but there is a website, disboards.com, has a wedding & honeymoon board that might have some ideas for you. If I think of anything I`ll reply later!

We were married at Sunset Pointe at the Polynesian Resort at 5pm in January. It was beautiful. I was nervous that something bad would happen, but everything happened exactly as explained to me by my coordinator. It was hard keeping in touch with Disney to plan everything, but it was worth it. We plan on returning for our first anniversary, because we enjoyed our wedding/honeymoon trip so much! Disney really knows how to take care of you. Here`s a tip: when you are honeymooning/ celebrating an anniversary, let people know and they`ll treat you extra special. It makes a great memory!!!
