Help - Casual Beach Wedding Wanted On Long Island NY

Hi - I seem to be in the same boat as some of you. My fiance and I want a laid back bbq beach wedding. You would think this would be easy to find on an ISLAND.
I have contacted houses on the beach that are for rent and resorts on the beach and no luck. We are looking to get married Sept 2009 and I dont want to give up on our dream wedding but I feel like I am hitting a brick wall.. Can anyone give me some suggestions.
