Winter Wedding

I am planning a wedding for Dec. 2, 2006. I saw a table setting I really liked which includes lavender, silver, and white(a very winterish feeling). I want to get married in Georgia, but at that time the tree`s will still be in fall form. Everything is so pretty with the orange, brown, and red! I just prefer the lavender color scheme. Do you think it will look funny having lavender as a wedding color in an area that is full of the orange theme? Just looking for input...Thank you!!
