Also you can go to your search engine on your computer and type butterflyfarms+ (the state you live in. For ex: texas) and it will list places where you can purchase live butterflies to be released as you are leaving the site.

Some of the links on Ginka are out of date, but most are good. All the glass cake tops are available in clear Glass - the cheapest, gold trimmed, silver trimmed, or heavily colored.
Does anyone know where I can get some feather or even other nylon butterflies in my choice of colors?

Also I`m planning a butterfly wedding also instead of ordering butterflys off the internet. Try finding a pet store local that may have some friends that raise insects or such that may get them cheaper for you ,ans they may raise them too.

Another cute ideal i had for my wedding is buying pink and purple cotton candy from wal-mart layering it in small treat bags adding my own butterflys to them as a treat for my guest.

You can also go to www.swallowtailfarms.com to purchase the live monarch butterflies. I used them for my wedding in May and the release was SO beautiful!

I have found a ton of butterfly items on EBAY. I am Using Fenton butterfly glass sculptures for my cake topper. I`ve found real cute butterfly envelope seals, Napkins, hair jewelry, gifts for the wedding party and in laws, unity candle set. I mean, name it and it`s on there. For place cards I am getting regular business cards that I can print at home, print with the guest name, using a cute butterfly stamp on the other side, a butterfly hole punch for the ribbon, and tied to the organza favor bag. If you are planning to use feather or nylon butterflies, use Oriental Trading like some one else suggested. They have the same things on EBAY, but more expensive. Good luck.
