Baseball Wedding

HI. I am also having my wedding and reception at a baseball stadium....the Texas Rangers stadium. Most craft/ party stores sell little clear bags. We saw cute ones with baseball mits and balls on them. You could fill them with items found at a stadium, such as sunflower seeds, cracker jacks, and such. Our local craft store (hobby lobby) had cute baseball cards (the ones that you print up on your own computer to be wedding invitations. They were very reasonable. I wanted to use these ideas, but instead we used a Texas theme. Good luck. I`d be interested hearing how you decided on a ballpark. When is the big day??

I was married 7-19-2003 at Blair Field in Long Beach Calif.
We created everything ourselves! Bride and Baseball Player cake topper. Boquets with a baseball in the middle of them. The guys wore custom jersey`s from cap to cleat. We did baseball cards of our groomsmen a program, custom wedding invitations we designed ourselves and had a 40" giant baseball for guests to sign in on. Our local online news LBreport has a pictorial on it.
My girls wore red dresses I ,a wedding gown The Rev, was an umpire and We had 6 ushers clad in vests and straw hats.
We had 14 girls and 14 guys in it ,plus a stadium announcer.

Were you able to have your wedding? Where did you find all your accessories for the wedding?

I am having a baseball themed wedding as well. We are using trading cards as one of our favors, where we will have our picture on one side and the bridal party lineup on the other. I ran across a website, allcoaches.com, and have been talking to Joanna there. She e-mailed me back with some suggestions, but also said their company can create invitations and programs as well as the trading cards. I am going to design ours, but she said if you give them an idea they can design them as well.
