1940`s Wedding

Hi, my fiance and I are also planning a 40`s such themed wedding... Its is so perfectly us in our everday lives anyways, buutt i need some help, he is in a iraq right now and im having to plan a lot on my own so i was curious on what your pics looked like and more of color schemes... I think it will all tie together so well a lil of old Hollywood glamor mixed with the hardworking class people with the shirts the groomsmen will be wearing (long johns with suspenders) and the some pictures of old cars, and appreciating the military and WWII and many pealrs and gloves and hats everywhere. Can you help me figure out colors?
